Enough misery has been rained on Cuba and Haiti. Surely, existing in either land can give way to despair, make it easy to give up — or give in — if only to survive. A small plant is a tangible sign of hope – a symbol of goodness that there is a tomorrow, that it will be blessed day for the children, for the women who hoped, worked and given their lives to improve their land and their country.
